Mrs Lorraine Clegg

Deputy Principal and Governor for Education & SEND

Lorraine is a teacher with 30 years of experience. After graduating from Manchester with a Bachelor of Education degree she began her teaching career in Tameside before moving to Cheshire where she has taught in several schools. As well as being a class teacher working across the Primary age ranges she has held a number of additional roles including co-ordinator for Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 Leader and Head of Early Years as well as Assistant Head Teacher and Deputy Headships. 

Lorraine has completed the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers at Manchester University and has taken on the role of Acting Headteacher in two schools. She has recently achieved The National Award for SENDCo’s at Edge Hill University. 

Lorraine held the role of SENDCo in her previous school in Macclesfield as well as that of teacher in a year 6 class. 

Lorraine is an elected staff governor of the Local Governing Board.
